DESCRIPTION:After our webinar with WWF Singapore and WWF Korea on sustainability\, we are glad to take you on a special exhibition hosted by WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) at Savina Art Museum. \n“The exhibition\, commemorating Global Tiger Day (July 29) and the Year of the Tiger\, delivers a message about the ideal coexistence of humans and wild animals\, under the theme that all life on earth belongs to nature.” and “presents 236 works\, including a series of 20 endangered animals and drawing projects “#KOHEXIST\,” a new commissioned video work where a virtual elephant walking on a globe\, as well as wild tigers that have disappeared from the Korean Peninsula.” \nBehind the artworks is Sang-Woo Koh\, a prominent visual artist who was named as one of the 100 most important contemporary Korean artists. He consolidates photography\, performance\, and painting and creates vivid imagery by using new technologies to convey mood and passion into his work. The colors are mysterious and lyrical to express a strong emotional charge\, which in this case is to convey the crisis of endangered species. \nLearn with us and WWF about the importance of protecting wildlife for a healthy planet\, while exploring the otherworldly portraits of the animal world. Note: English speaking tour guide is provided for the visit. \nThe fun doesn’t end here – join us for a coffee at Cafe Savina on the first floor after the exhibition. Special blended beans\, homemade green drinks\, organic herbal teas and desserts are available.
