SUMMARY:“Coming Together” with music - Community building event
DESCRIPTION:SIWA’s vision is to create a positive impact in local and global communities through collaborative efforts. With this at our hearts we are launching a special volunteering and community building initiative called “Coming Together”. \n  \nThe first event will be on 6th June  in collaboration with Soyang Rainbow Children’s Home and Radcliffe Choral Society (RCS). Since 1946\, Soyang Rainbow Children’s Home has committed to providing a nurturing family environment and an enriching music program to orphaned and abandoned youth. The Radcliffe Choral Society is an all female ensemble with a more than 100 yr history. The choral comprises Harvard University students who aspire to celebrate excellence in women’s choral music and the wonderful community formed through its music-making.  \n  \nThe first part of the program will celebrate unity and collective impact\, featuring a project introduction\, a guest speaker\, and musical performances by Soyang and RCS musicians.  \n  \nWhile in the second part\, SIWA will bring together Soyang youth and volunteers from the RCS\, Seoul Foreign School\, and Changemakers (the Hansoo Rotaract Club) to encourage cultural conversations and foster bonds through fun games and music sharing.  \n  \nJoin us and bring your families\, friends\, and guests for a few hours on June 6\, 2023 to enjoy the universal language of music and to support our community building efforts for local and global participants. \n  \nRegistration is open till June 4\, 2023. \n  \nEvent date & time: 2023.06.06. 11:00-13:00 \n  \nEvent host: Yashoda Pradhani\, specialevents@siwakorea.com  \n  \nVenue: HEYGROUND SKY LOUNGE – S606\, Heyground 5\, Ttukseom-ro 1na-gil\, Seongdong-gu\, Seoul\, 04779 \n서울 성동구 뚝섬로1나길 5 \nNaver map: https://naver.me/xOCmI3hc  \n  \nNr of participants: 50 \nThe event is open to SIWA members and their guests.
