DESCRIPTION:Mangwon-dong is a vibrant neighborhood in the Mapo-gu district of Seoul\, known for its unique blend of traditional markets\, trendy cafes\, and cultural spots. \nBefore exploring the neighborhood cafes\, we will visit a small but memorable museum\, the War and Women’s Human Rights Museum. This significant cultural and historical institution is dedicated to raising awareness about the atrocities committed against women during wartime\, particularly focusing on the experiences of “comfort women” during World War II. \nThe War and Women’s Human Rights Museum strives to create a better world for future generations by raising awareness of past history and memory through various exhibitions and educational programs.
