DESCRIPTION:Join us for an insightful and powerful discussion in honor of International Women’s Day 2025. \nThis event is spearheaded by The Gallery in collaboration with the Seoul International Women’s Association (SIWA)\, the American Women’s Club (AWC)\, and the British Association of Seoul (BASS). We are honored to welcome Ms. Alison Miriam Davidian\, Special Representative to the UN Women Afghanistan Country Office\, who will provide expert insights into the current situation and lived experiences of women and girls in Afghanistan. She will also highlight the critical efforts being made to support and empower them in the face of extraordinary challenges. \nABOUT UN WOMEN AFGHANISTAN \nUN Women\, operational in Afghanistan since 2002\, is dedicated to promoting gender equality and empowering Afghan women across the nation. Through five main program areas\, UN Women Afghanistan works closely with national women’s organizations to ensure critical support to women and girls\, to amplify their voices\, and to preserve space for them amidst one of the world’s worst gender crises.
