DESCRIPTION:Join SIWA member\, Sujin Ahn\, for a visit to the Bongeunsa Temple\, a historic Buddhist temple located in the heart of Seoul’s Gangnam district. Founded in 794 AD during the Silla Dynasty\, Bongeunsa offers a quiet spiritual retreat amidst the city’s modern skyline. The temple is known for its beautiful traditional architecture\, serene walking paths\, and a towering 23-meter tall Maitreya Buddha statue.
