SUMMARY:Exploring K- Art & Culture
DESCRIPTION:There’s always something exciting happening at SIWA with our  wide range of activities including the exploration of Seoul’s buzzing urban scene.  We do this for a positive impact on our diverse community and to shape our perspectives through arts and culture. \n  \nThis time we will bring you right into the very center of the city\, which was once a historic transit center and the gateway to Seoul. The old wooden train station was turned into a large-scale brick building with Renaissance\, Byzantine and Neoclassical styles in 1925  with a particularly sophisticated construction method. All to indicate the importance and role in modernization\, development\, time  and culture. The building witnessed historic moments and shifts in social life over time.  \n  \nNow as a platform of arts and an exhibition space\,  it is a  cultural gateway for local and international visitors. \n  \nThrough the explanations of professional docents\, we will view the architectural\, historical\, and cultural value of the former Seoul station and  we will be able to listen to the story of Culture Station Seoul 284 and view the current “ANOTHER LETTER TO NATURE”  exhibition. \n  \nAt last we will visit the  nearby SEOULLO PH CAFÉ\, where we can enjoy a good chat\, some tasty brunch and drink with an amazing view overlooking the area and Namsan. \n  \nEvent date & time: 2023.06.01. 11:30-14:00 \n  \nEvent host: Yashu Sitani\, hospitality@siwakorea.com \n  \nVenue: Culture Station  Seoul 284\, 1 Tongil-ro\, Jung-gu\, Seoul 04509 // 문화역서울284\, 04509 서울특별시 중구 통일로 1 \nNaver map: https://naver.me/GWFrIdRi  \n  \nMeeting spot: We will meet in front of the Culture Station Seoul 284 at 11:25 so we can start the guided tour on time. \n  \nNr of participants: max 10.  \nThe event is open to SIWA members and their guests. \n  \nTicket price: free. You only have to pay for what you consume at Seoullo PH Café. If you do not intend to join for the brunch\, please contact our event host after your registration\, so we can make the table booking accordingly. Thank you.
