ESWS was founded in 1972 to offer comprehensive social welfare services for babies and children, single moms, senior citizens, and the physically challenged. Until the Coronavirus outbreak, SIWA supported and volunteered at ESWS by visiting and caring for abandoned babies waiting for adoption. ESWS provides services for orphaned children, by taking them in and finding them foster and permanent families. They also support single mothers so that they have the financial ability to raise their children. Mothers can earn money by working at the cafe and learning how to run a business; they receive job training, counselling, and group homes.
The mothers run their own cafe serving delicious coffee, tea, and dessert. Please join us on the visit to the cafe to support the mothers and their babies and learn more about the special work/project ESWS does to support the moms and their babies. The director will also tell us about resuming the Baby Cuddler Volunteering Project with ESWS.
