Chinese characters, 漢字 (hànzì), are logograms developed for the writing of Chinese. They have been adapted to write a number of other Asian languages. In the Korean language, they are called Hanja (한자). A lot of people are intimidated by the complexity of Chinese characters when they first see it. However, Chinese characters are fun and easy to learn.

Join Veronica and find out the story of each Chinese character. She will do demonstrations with a pen and a Chinese brush. All you need to bring to the session are a pen and a piece of paper, and your curiosity.

Instructor: Veronica Koon
