K-Art & Culture: Magok District Architectural tour & Space K museum visit

Magok District in Seoul is an emerging area that combines modern urban development with cultural and natural attractions. Located in the southwestern part of the city, the district is gaining popularity for its dynamic blend of nature, architecture, art, and cultural spaces.

We will begin the program with an architectural tour of the LG Art Center, designed by the renowned architect Tadao Ando, known for its striking modern design featuring the use of concrete and natural light. We will take a stroll around the building on a self-guided audio tour, visiting eight spots where you can listen to stories about the architect’s three design concepts, the theaters, the exhibition space, and the rooftop.

Space K is dedicated to contemporary art and aims to provide a platform for artists to showcase their work. It emphasizes the interaction between art, technology, and society, reflecting the innovative spirit of the Kolon Group. We will view Kylie Manning’s work during our visit to the Space K Museum.
