May in Seoul is radiant, with its nature displaying a vibrant array of colours. Let’s seize the opportunity to
immerse ourselves in the beauty that surrounds us!
SIWA member Mandy Irvine, an avid outdoor enthusiast passionate about hiking, marathons, and exploring Seoul, will lead us on a tour along the Hanyandoseong, Seoul City Wall, from Sungnyemun Gate to Namsan Tower. We will continue along the scenic Namsan Pine Forest trail to Namsan Botanic Gardens.
(*Participants who prefer can end the tour at Namsan Botanic Gardens, easily returning by taxi or public bus.)
For those eager to continue the adventure, we’ll complete the loop by retracing our steps towards Namsan Library, concluding our excursion at Namdaemun Market, where we can enjoy lunch together or conveniently catch the Line 4 train at Hoehyeon station for our journey back home.
Please join us for a relaxed and invigorating 7km hike featuring stairs, roads, and forest trails. Please wear
comfortable shoes with a good traction for safety.
