SIWA Connect: International Women’s Day – Solidarity in Action

Join us for an insightful and powerful discussion in honor of International Women’s Day 2025.

This event is spearheaded by The Gallery in collaboration with the Seoul International Women’s Association (SIWA), the American Women’s Club (AWC), and the British Association of Seoul (BASS). We are honored to welcome Ms. Alison Miriam Davidian, Special Representative to the UN Women Afghanistan Country Office, who will provide expert insights into the current situation and lived experiences of women and girls in Afghanistan. She will also highlight the critical efforts being made to support and empower them in the face of extraordinary challenges.

The event will bring together panelists from diverse cultural and generational backgrounds for an open and lively discussion on gender equality and how men and women can work together to empower women.
