Volunteering at Anna’s House 2026-03-06

Spend a meaningful afternoon in the kitchen at Anna’s House. Volunteers help prepare and serve 500+ warm meals each day for neighbors experiencing homelessness, including vulnerable youth. This hands-on opportunity is available on the first and fourth Friday of every month.
Anna’s House was established in 1992 by Father Vincenzo Bordo, an Italian priest who dedicates his time and life to serving those in need. The team at Anna’s House is committed to working with underprivileged people living on the streets, whether they are homeless adults, runaway street children or abandoned elderly people.
Anna’s House offers food, clothing, and medicine to meet daily physical needs, while also providing legal and psychological counseling, work opportunities, long-term shelter, and a safe space.
SIWA volunteers can help with the cooking preparations in the soup kitchen.
*Please note that there is no designated coordinator for the event on the day, so feel free to take initiative, offer support where needed, and enjoy being an active part of the experience.*
