#SIWAHIKINGCLUB – Namsan Mountain Trail

SIWA Hiking Club will dare the December weather with another adventure. As we keep trailing the Seoul wall, our next route will run from the backstreets of Jangchung Arena to Namsan Park. In early Joseon, a national shrine and beacon platform were built near and at the top of Mongmyeoksan Mountain (Namsan, 270m). Today, as Namsan is the centre of the administrative district in Seoul, there is a stone marker inscribed with “the Central Point of Seoul” on the summit.
The hike is approximately 4.2km (3 hours) and considered moderate level with right mix of steps & trail
Trail: Jangchung Arena – Namsan Park-N-Seoul Tower – Baekbeom Square
Event host: Yashu Sitani, hospitality@siwakorea.com
Venue / meeting spot: CoffeeBean Dongguk Univ. Station Branch

Additional Information: Dress well for winter. Please carry some snacks & water for the hike, in case you need to refill your energy level 🙂 Also carry some cash, if you wish to enjoy some local Korean food, as the trail will land us in the nearby area of Namdaemun Market.
The event is open to SIWA members and their guests.
