Tere graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from Ewha Womans University and passed the national teaching qualification exam in Korea. She went on to dedicate more than ten years as a public high school math teacher, where she guided students with a deep commitment to learning and personal growth. Following this, she earned her Master’s degree in Education from the Institute of Education (IOE), University of London. Since then, she has been actively involved in international mathematics education, focusing especially on teaching IB Mathematics and helping students connect theory with real-world applications.
Since joining SIWA in 2017, she has also devoted herself to volunteer service, taking on leadership roles such as Bazaar Manager and Tour Team Chair. Through these roles, she has contributed to community engagement, cultural exchange, and fundraising efforts that support SIWA’s mission. She is passionate about both education and community service, and she believes in bringing people together to inspire positive change.
